REDCAR SUMMER MEETING – AUCTION OF BOOTHS
The privilege of erecting booths on the race course was sold by auction by Mr Boyd yesterday (08/07), at the Globe Hotel.
The prices obtained were as follows:-
Inside the enclosure:
No.1, Mr Picknett, Newcastle, £26; No.2, Mr Moor, Bishop Auckland, £5.15s.
Outside:
No.3, Mr Wetherell, Globe Hotel, Redcar, £5; No.4, Mr Owen Stockton, £2.5s; No.5, Mr Taylor, Stockton Hotel, Redcar, £3.5s; No.6, Mr Wetherald, Zetland Hotel, Redcar, £3.7s.
