There is also an item called ‘Tulip Tree’ a sculpture (by Steve Irdale tree sculpture) which was fashioned from a twenty five foot cherry tree which had died in the centre section of the cemetery.This tree sculpture will be dedicated to the Yorkshire Regiment, past, present and future. New gates into the cemetery were fabricated (by Corus PLC as part of their ‘Help in the Community’) and fitted at no cost. |
