FELIX CRUSE
This young musician – who made his debut at the Leeds Town Hall about two years ago, and was described by the local press as “The wonderful boy pianist, who were at 10 years of age players the works of the Great Blasters like a second Mozart” gave a Pianoforte Recital at the Central Hall, Redcar, on the 21st ult., and for over two hours riveted the attention of a numerous and appreciative audience. For a mere boy to play of the classical works of Beethoven, Hummel, Weber, and Mendelssohn, with such accuracy was truly astonishing, and his performance met with deserved applause throughout.
