THEFT FROM THE REDCAR RAILWAY STATION BOOKSTALL.
At the Guisborough Please Court, on Tuesday (10/07), Sarah Jane Taylor, of North Skelton, domestic servant, was charged on remand, with stealing a child’s picture book, valued at 5s, the property of Mr. E. D. Walker, from the Redcar Railway Station bookstall, on the 3rd inst. The prisoner was apprehended as she was leaving the station, and she had been since confined in the lock-up, the Bench to a lenient view of the case, and discharged her with a caution.
