OF REDCAR
Ladies and Gentleman,
WE, the undersigned, being duly eligible for Election, do intend to come forward to represent your interests. Seeing the great importance involved on us, and fully knowing how the Ratepayers are depressed and saddled with Rates in the shape of Finds and Oppression. It is high time something was done to remove this stumbling Block out of the way.
Never was there a time of such importance that calls every man to do his duty.
Ratepayers, we urge on you to take your stand along with us and give us your support in this great Conflict.
And we, the undersigned, are resolved to pledge ourselves in your interests to remove this gigantic burden of oppression and party interests out of the way, and to stay its growth and increasing influences.
We are Ladies and Gentleman,
Yours Faithfully,
THOMAS BLATHERWICK
GEORGE WREN
ROBT. GARBUTT
We reprint the address in extensor for the amusement of such of our readers as may be disposed to view this subject in its merely ludicrous aspect
