REDCAR LIFEBOAT EXERCISE “BURTON-ON-TRENT”
On Monday last (19/03). The crew of the Redcar lifeboat, the “Burton-on-Trent,” had their usual quarterly exercise, this time under that the supervision of Capt Ward, R.N., the inspector appointed by the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, but the sea being calm. They had no opportunity of showing the capabilities of the craft, or their own proficiency. The result was, however, considered satisfactory.
