At their services of Sacred Music on Sunday (04/08) the Hall was on each occasion crowded it excess many being unable to obtain admission. The music on Sunday was entirely Sacred and included such pieces as Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” Sullivan’s “Lost Chord,” Mozart’s Gloria in Excelsis” &c., &c., which were cleverly rendered upon their splendid carrillon of 156 sweetly toned Hand bells. Miss Bessie Walford’s marvellous performance the “Aquadigipsycharmonica” elicited applause.
