REDCAR NEWS ROOM & LIBRARY

         The News Room and Library, adjoining the Town Hall, was opened on Monday last stop the following daily papers on the table,  viz. :- The Times, Standard, Daily News, Newcastle Chronicle, Yorkshire Pulls, and Leeds Mercury. The weekly papers are – The Graphic, Illustrated News, Punch, Fun, Judy, York Herald, and Stockton and Darlington Times. The members have use of a Library of upwards of 700 volumes. Terms of subscription: Hon members, 10s.6d stop per annum and: working men, 1s.6d. per quarter; apprentices,1s stop per quarter, all payable in advance.
