BRITISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION.

The 37th annual meeting has just been concluded at Leeds, at which addresses were delivered by leading members of the profession. The address of Sir W. Jenner must have strongly impressed the public with the march of medicine as a practical science during the last few years, and the value of it in the alleviation of suffering, and the curing of disease. An interesting discussion followed the reading of the paper on “The atmosphere of towns in its sanitary aspect,” by Dr Oliver, of Coatham. We are sorry that, from want of space, we cannot furnish our readers with an outline of the observations and practical suggestions made by Dr Oliver.
