THE COATHAM AND REDCAR BRASS BAND

The above band have recently been enabled, through the liberality of their friends and patrons, to purchase an entirely new set of instruments, a list of which we subjoined. From their public performances on Easter Monday, we are led to augur that a supply of really good music will be the result of the diligent exertions of the members. The instruments are first rate quality, and this is no doubt will act as an incitement to persevering practice. The instruments are Soprano in E flat, Prime Cornett, Second and Third do., Flugelhorn, in B-flat; First Second Alt Horns, Solo Tenor, 2 Bombardons in E flat, Side Drum and Base Drum. Mr W. Richardson is bandmaster.
