WESLEYAN NEW SUNDAY SCHOOL, REDCAR
On Sunday (06/08), two sermons were preached by the Rev. Kinnings; of Durham, and on the Sunday (13/08), by the Rev. G. Abbott, of Guisborough, to large congregations. The collections taken at the services are mounted to £22.12s.9d., and were in aid of the Building Fund of the deal School, which will be opened shortly. In the early part of September there will be a sale of ladies’ work, when the articles left at the latest bizarre will be offered for sale in the new School, in aid of the same fund.
