Michael Rennie to Stay At
the Coatham

Michael Rennie, the new film star who made his debut with Margaret Lockwood in “I’ll Be Your Sweetheart,” and Harry Fryer, the band leader, will be staying at the Coatham Hotel, Redcar, from Thursday, the 22^nd of this month until the Saturday. They are coming down to judge the finals of the Gaumont British “Sweetheart” competition in the Gaumont Palace, Middlesbrough, on Friday the 23^rd. With them at the Coatham will be Mr. L. S. Hodnett, Manager of the Gaumont, Middlesbrough, who is in charge of the arrangements; Mr. W. M. Cleminson, Gaumont’s Divisional Superintendent; and Mr. Selwyn Taylor, Gaumont Publicity man. The finals will commence on the week commencing the 19^th and conclude on the 23^rd. Michael Rennie will entertain the winning lady and gentleman in the Coatham Hotel on Friday the 23^rd,
