ZETLAND SCHOOLS, REDCAR

These schools are now under the management of Trustees, pursuant to the trust deeds and endowment provided by the late Earl of Zetland. His Lordship endowed the MixedSchool with £40 per annum; and £15 for the Sewing Mistress and the Infant School with £10 per annum. The Trustees of the former are The Earl of Zetland, Adml Chaloner, J. T. Wharton, Esq., G. D. Trotter, Esq., and the Vicar and Church wardens of Redcar. In the Trustees of the Infant School are The Earl of Zetland, Adml Chaloner, J. W. Pease, Esq., M.P., and the Vicar and Church wardens. Under the new management the weekly charge for the Infant school will be 2d a head, the change taking effect when the school re-opens on Monday next (10/01).
