PROFESSOR CRISTO – CENTRAL HALL, REDCAR.
Professor Cristo, better known as, Valentine Vox, entertainment in the Central Hall, Redcar, last (Wednesday) night (29/04). There was a numerous attendance, notwithstanding the unfavourable weather stop. Professor Christo is certainly an adept in his art, all the ease and dexterity with which he performs his legerdemain tricks are most surprising. The ventriloquail part of the entertainment was also thoroughly enjoyed by the audience. A dark séance was subsequently held, when the same manifestations were produced under the auspices of Professor Cristo as by the Davenport Brothers, including the incomprehensible coat feat. No pretensions were however, made to supernatural aid stop. We observe that Professor Cristo has been introduced to: his stay over to-night (Thursday 07/05), when he will give another entertainment, to be followed by a dark séance, at which the lovers of the marvellous and the dupes of spiritualism should not fail to the present.
