A PROMISING REDCAR YOUTH

            Guisborough Petty Sessions – A youth named Jonathan Jackson, was charged with being drunk and disorderly at Redcar on the 26th ult., Sergt. Alexander said that about seven o’clock that evening he found defendants drunk and creating a disturbance near his father’s house, having kicked in. The panel of a door and broken to squares of glass. The chairman said it was disgraceful to see one commencing to drink so early. After being reprimanded, he was ordered to pay 5s. the costs.
