REDCAR – TOWN LIGHTING

There was much complaining about the way in which the town was lighted. It was often in total darkness, thereby causing great inconvenience to people who have business out of doors after dark. Instead of putting out the few blinking lights which barely serve to make darkness visible it would have been to the credit of the town to have added a few more and greater illuminating power. Several people have sustained injuries through the streets being so badly lighted and flagged.
