 REDCAR LOCAL BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING

            The monthly meeting of this Board, adjourned from January 1st, was held on Thursday evening (04/01) inst. Present. Mr. J. H. Webster, chairman; Messrs. Crabtree, Coulson and Patterson. The flagging to complete footpath at the South side of Highly Street was ordered; also the kerbing, channelling, and paving of: Street from West End to Zetland Place. The wooden boxes at the junction of the sewers near the outlet having given way, ordered that they had be replaced by metal ones. The recent heavy seas having damaged the footpaths opposite Bath Street and Douglas Street, leading to the beach, ordered that these be repaired. Notices were ordered to be issued declaring that Cleveland Street being flagged, paved and channelled, is now a public highway. Statutory notices were ordered to be served on the owners of property in Ulmer Parade and Wilson Street to flag, pave, and channelled their respective shares.
