REDCAR LOCAL BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING.
A special meeting of this Board was held yesterday afternoon, (21/03), at the Board-room, West Terrace, Redcar. Present: Mr. J. H. Webster (in the chair), Messrs. Blatherwick, Coulson, Crabtree, Patterson, and Wren; D. D. Bookless (surveyor), and R. Nicholson (deputy clerk). A number of accounts were examined and ordered to be paid. Plan of water closet, intended to be put into a house in Bath Street, belonging to Mr. Denton, submitted by Mr. Thomas Bradley, was approved. Messrs. Patterson, and Harrison were appointed to assist the Chairman in cash tingle the roads the forthcoming election of three members to serve on the Board in place of Messrs. Coulson, Crabtree, and Dowson. The Surveyor reported that the recent sale of the town’s menu had realised £11 for 150 loads. The Clerk submitted estimates of a general district rate of 8d. in the pound, to be levied in the recently annexed Upleatham portion of the district, for the six months ending the 31st inst., Which was approved, as was also statement concerning the water and drainage rates. This was the whole of the business.
