ACCIDENT WHILST PLAYING WITH LARGE DOG – COATHAM

           on Sunday evening (02/01), whilst Mr R. M. Jacques was playing with a large dog belonging to Mr Schmitz, at the latter gentleman’s residence, Derby Villa, Coatham, it seized him by the heel, and held it till very severe measures had to be resorted to in order to compel it to release him. We are sorry to have to state that Mr Jacques was much injured, a piece being bitten out of his heel, and ever since he has been, confined to his, though he is improving.
