ACCIDENT AT WEST COATHAM.
At West Coatham, near Redcar, a rather serious accident befell an Irishman employed by Mr. William Thompson. On Wednesday evening (06/07), whilst seated in an empty manure cart, and driving it to the farm of his master, at West Coatham, his mare began to kick so furiously that she broke in the front of the cart, and then happened to hit the man’s leg seriously injuring his knee. The mare also was very much cut about the hind legs.
