WESLEYAN METHODIST CHRISTMAS TREE
On Monday and Tuesday last (29th-30th/12) a Christmas Tree was exhibited in the Central Hall, when a variety of useful and ornamental articles were offered for sale. There was a good attendance each evening; several anthems were sung at intervals by the Chapel choir. The proceeds of the sale were £29.5s. A good many useful articles remain unsold, which will be disposed of. Shortly, when the whole of the remaining debt on the new Auckland recently erected in the Wesleyan Chapel will be fully met.
