SALE OF PROPERTY AT COATHAM

            On Friday (07/04) Messrs. Walker and Hammond offered three valuable lots of leasehold property for public competition, at the house of Mr. John Hikeley, the Lobster In, Coatham before a large company. Lot one, Esk House, Trafalgar Terrace, was started at £800, and after some brisk competition was purchased by Mr Hikeley for £1,150. Lot 2, No.8 Nelson Terrace was started at £700, and eventually became the property of Mr. Imeson, of Middlesbrough, at the sum of £820. Lot 3, Highcliffe House, was not salt, and the reserve being named by Mr. Parrington at £1,050.
