ZETLAND SCHOOL.

            This school was inspected on Thursday, the 18th instant, by H. E. Oakley, Esq., H. M. Inspector of Schools, and assistant inspector. Mr Lee. There were present at the examination 133 pupils, of whom 100 were examined in the subjects appointed by the Committee of Council on Education. The first-class were further examined in geography, advanced arithmetic, and grammar. The pupils seemed on the hall to pass very satisfactory, though the exact result cannot be known for a few days. After the examination, the boys, accompanied by their master, had an exciting game of football on the banks.
