REDCAR AND COATHAM ASSEMBLY.
On Tuesday evening last (26/02), and assembly was held at the Coatham Hotel, and was attended by about ninety of the principal residence in Redcar, Coatham, and the neighbourhood. Dancing commenced at nine o’clock, and was kept up to about three the following morning. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the plants, kindly lent by Mr. Newcomen, Mr. Schmits, and Mr. A. O. Cochrane, added materially to the general effect. The music was supplied by Mr. Barraclough, and was highly satisfactory.
