Stirling Road, Redcar, walking south towards Castle Road, was once a lane that weaved its way up to the Ings Farm House.Ings Farm Estate it is known as today, but we knew there was a farm house at this location sometime in the past. NO it is not there now, just housing, a Fish & Chip shop, and a Newsagents shop.
If you have a walk along Castle Road/ Stirling Road, take a look at the garden boundary walls alongside the footpath. The bricks are part of the old farm.
