YORKSHIRE SPRING ASSIZES.
Attempted burglary at Redcar.
John Newstead (55), was charged with being found by night at the hour of half past one, armed with a bludgeon, with intent to break and enter the dwelling house of George Mark Clay, and to commit a felony therein, in the parish of Redcar, in the North Riding, on 14th March last. Prisoner pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to 10 months’ imprisonment with hard labour stop
