REDCAR LOCAL BOARD OF HEALTH
At the monthly meeting, held on Monday last (24/04). There were present Messrs Lennard (chairman), Johnson, Cowl, and Webster. It was ordered that kerbstones be laid from West Terrace to Dundas Street, along the Esplanade. The Clerk was requested to communicate with the Gas Company, with a view to having the contracts completed. The clerk reported that the books and accounts of the Board had been duly audited, and signed by the auditor. Plans of alterations at hundred and 28, high Street, the Red Lion Hotel, and Mr Richlieu’s warehouse, were passed; and it was resolved that Mr R. Pounder should be served with a notice to remove the rubbish deposited by him in Dundas Street.
