CENTRAL HALL – REDCAR.
On Tuesday evening (01/03), and entertainment was given in the above Hall to a crowded audience. The following is the program :-
Selections by Coatham Brass Band.
Farce, “Up for the Cattle Show,” characters by Messrs
Crabtree, Wynn, Kirton, Adamson, G Atkinson, Dixon,
Mace, and J. Simpson;
Song “The Pilot,” Mr Bainbridge;
Song “The Lifeboat,” Mr J. Simpson;
cornet solo “Geraldine,” Mr J. Coverdale;
Selections, by the band;
farce, The Haunted Farm House,” with phantoscopic
illusions, characters by Messrs Crabtree, Mace, Kirton,
J. Simpson and T. Potts.
The first piece was very effective mainly owing to the able manner in which Mr Wynn sustained his part. The selections by a band, and Mr Coverdale’s cornet solo, were also much admired.
