Opening game of the season
The opening game of the season of Redcar and Coatham Cricket Club saw a game between the Married v Single Members played on Saturday last (29/04) on the Coatham Cricket Ground, and was won by the latter.
The club in connection with the Coatham Church Choir were also out for the first time this season on Saturday afternoon (07/05). Sides were chosen by the Rev. L. B. Towne (vicar) and the Rev. A. L. N. MacDonald, (curate, and a well contested game resulted in favour of the vicar’s eleven by five runs.
