Accreditation the Redcar and Saltburn-by-the-Sea Gazette 28/01/1876

OUTBREAK OF SHEEP-SCAB AT REDCAR

Sheep-scab is reported to have made its appearance on Mr. A. B. Murray’s farm near Redcar. One animal out of a flock of 55 sheep, was observed to be suffering from the disease, and measures were at once taken for its isolation, also for preventing the spread of the infection. The case is a bad one, but it is, fortunately, the only one as yet reported.
