Has the pleasure of announcing that he has arranged with F. J. SCOTT, Esq., Portrait and Animal Painter, who has received a Royal Academy education in Art, and has had the honour of Painting several Portraits of HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN, There Royal Highnesses the Prince and Princess of Wales, and Family, Crown Prince and Princess of Germany, Prince and Princess Louis of Hesse, Prince and Princess Christian, Princess Louise and Marquis of Lorne, The Duke of Edinburgh, Duke and Duchess of Tech, Duke of Cambridge, King of Greece, Archbishop of Canterbury, Bishop of Winchester, and a great number of the Nobility and gentry; Mr, Scott has exhibited in the Royal Academy, and has received favourable notices by the best authority in the, art matters – the Art Journal.
This arrangement enables Mr. HOGGARD to promise to his Patrons the HIGHEST CLASS OF PORTRAITURE, viz., the best Painting, combined with unsurpassed Photography, in every variety, from the smallest MINIATURE to LIFE-SIZE, Enlarged and painted on the Premises.
The latest from the Easel is one in hunting costume of E. B. EMERSON, Esq., Picton House, Redcar, mounted on his favourite hunter, enlarged and painted on the premises by the above named Artist. (size measures 27in. x 30in.), now on view at the Studio, by the kind permission of the owner. The Nobility and Gentry are respectfully invited to an inspection of this Equestrian Picture free of charge.
Mr. HOGGARD, having had considerable experience, extending over several years, and the production of Life-sized Oil or Water Caller Portraits from small faded Photographs and Daguerreotypes, will undertake to execute commissions of the most difficult description.
